HONORING PAST PASTORS

On August 21, 2011 Reverend Charlottie welcomed pastors who had served our church in the past to take part in a special serives of honor. This was the first special church service marking the beginning of our Centennial year.

Rev. Fran Kirk, who served as pastor from 1973-1978 and Rev. Lou Miller, who served as pastor from 1978-1981 and Rev. Stan Tate who had served part-time took part in the service. Also recognized were Rev. Harold Henderson and Lois Richards, wife of Rev. Herb Richards.

Mrs. Kirk, Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Tate were also in attendance.

These pastors are a part of our church's legacy. Some led the church as full-time pastors for several years; others kept the church alive in years when there was no full-time pastor and our church was faltering. We are grateful to all who have lead and to Pastor Char and Ray who continue to take us into the future.
