Palm Sunday will be celebrated at the morning worship service at 10:45 on April 5, 2009.There will be palm branches to symbolize Jesus’ riding into Jerusalem The children of the church will be leading the Triumphal Entry with the waving of palm braches as they march around the sanctuary. There will be special music by the choir and a time of fellowship after the service. 

On Good Friday April 10 there will be a one hour Service of Darkness beginning at 6pm. There will be musical presentations by the church choir and soloists and a message from the pastor.

Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009, will begin with a breakfast, cooked and served by the men of the church under the leadership of Don Reynolds.  All guests are encouraged to come between 9am and 9:45 to eat.

 Worship will begin at 10:45. There will be special musical numbers by the choir singing How Deep the Father’s Love For Us with instruments and solo,  “Behold the Lamb of God’ (with instruments)  and We Have Seen the Risen Lord,”  Pastor Charlottie will be preaching the glorious resurrection message and there will be a beautiful arrangement of Lilies on the altar…Special music will be provided by the choir with musicians Tyler Vance, Ray Havlicak, Ron Klimko, Lois Fry and Linda Corder. .

During Sunday school there will be a special Easter Egg Hunt for the children and at the Fellowship time following worship, Hot Cross Buns will be served.  For more information about any of these special services, please call the church office at 634-5430
