Communion

Communion, or Holy Eucarist, is held monthly on the first Sunday of the month. We take communion by intinction, which means that the supplicant takes a small piece of bread from the plate and dips it into a common cup then takes the bread and grape juice, sybolizing the body and blood of Christ together.

All are welcome to take communion; no one is excluded. It is the philosphy of our congregation and pastor that God, not the church, invites us to the table. Not age, membership in the church or any other characteristic, qualifies us to partake, but only our belief in Christ and the grace of God.
